Brief Bio
My research falls at the interface of conservation biology, Eco/One Health, and human ecology. As a consequence, my work is highly interdisciplinary and involves collaboration with a wide array of colleagues from pathologists to economists. My current work seeks to integrate community-based disease surveillance with environmental conservation in mountain communities of Sebei, Elgon. I have a strong commitment to using science to influence both policy and conservation action.
